Tuition & Financial Access
Before you look at the numbers, here is something most families don't know.
If your child is a Florida resident, you may already qualify for a state scholarship that significantly reduces the cost of attending Seeds of Life. Many families pay less than half the published tuition rate after scholarships are applied. We'll show you exactly how that works, no form required.
SOL tuition is all-inclusive. Here is what that means
Most private schools charge tuition plus extras. At Seeds of Life, tuition covers everything your child needs for a full, rich school day.
Included in every program:
- Art
- Music & Theater
- Physical Education
- All Montessori materials
- Bilingual English/Spanish instruction
- All school-hour specials and enrichment
- All School Supplies
Inclusive Tuition Means:
- ✓ No fundraising
- ✓ No school supply lists
- ✓ No classroom fees
The only additional costs are optional: uniforms, some field trips (most are included), and food. That's it.
Florida scholarships — most SOL families qualify for at least one
Florida offers several state-funded private school scholarships through Step Up For Students. Seeds of Life is a proud participating school.
We believe that high-quality Montessori education should be accessible to as many families as possible. We are proud to accept several State of Florida scholarship programs. Depending on your family’s eligibility, these scholarships may cover between 50% to 100% of your child’s tuition.
We currently welcome students utilizing the following programs:
Scholarship 1
Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC)
Supporting families with expanded educational choices. For families with lower household income. Covers private school tuition and fees.
Scholarship 2
Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO)
Available to all eligible Florida K–12 students to attend a private school of choice. Many Florida families qualify regardless of income. Average award: approximately $8,000/year.
Scholarship 3
Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA)
For students with qualifying diagnoses including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, Down syndrome, speech and language impairments, and other conditions defined under IDEA. Funds can be used for private school tuition, therapies, and other educational services. Average award: approximately $10,000/year.
Scholarship 4
Hope Scholarship Program
For students who have experienced bullying or harassment at a Florida public school. Allows transfer to a private school.

Need-based financial assistance
We offer limited financial assistance for families where scholarships alone don't fully close the gap. This conversation is handled personally and confidentially by Jeff Chaffin, Owner and Founder of Seeds of Life.
If you'd like to discuss your family's situation, please call (941) 210-7025 or email jchaffin@solmontessori.org. We would rather have an honest conversation than have the right family walk away.
As with most parents, 2020 had us more closely scrutinizing back to school plans than ever before. The reality was we needed an educational system that offered creative solutions and could become rapidly adaptable to a constantly evolving environment. Seeds of Life Montessori stepped in and became just that. Unlike the majority of children who were simply getting by during a pandemic, my children were thriving in their new environment. The first thing we noticed was simply how eager my children were to get to school. They knew the exact minute we had to leave the house in order to be there at the very earliest possible. School was finally a fun experience for them!
